On the Solstice in 2024, Oxford instructors encouraged people to explore monuments and cityscapes through the interactive website created by Google Arts & Culture in collaboration with Harvard historians and anthropologists. Follow your nose or take a tour!

Zoom in on any of the amazing artworks from around the world with this tool that allows you to see detailed brushstrokes and background in minute detail. Start with a set of 12 artworks — they bet you’ll want more!

Thanks to criminologists from University of Cambridge, you can combine maps with detailed information and stories to explor murders that took place in cities like London, York and Oxford. Learn more by listening to one of their podcasts.
